M&C Engineering Invest in New Lorry
New investment by M&C Engineering was showcased this weekend by suppliers MV Commercial Ltd at #convoyInThePark, Donington Park Racing Ltd.
The Volvo Globettotter FH, is a 6 x 4 tandem rear lift 26 tonne tractor unit and de-mountable body fitted with hiab 858, 7 extensions with a fly jib and a further 6 hydraulic extensions. Giving an incredible lift capacity at over 30m reach.
Fitted with a cable winch, the crane has a maximum lift of 18 tonnes short arm, and 800kg at full extension.
13ltr and a 540 horsepower engine, fitted to an automatic i drive, it one of the most efficient trucks in its class, whilst maintaining driver comfort and safety.
The crane is also fitted with the latest stability control VSL+ and Space Evo, the lorry automatically adjusts to give optimum lifting duty. Meaning it can do a variety of lifts many lorries can’t, safely.
Adding to our fleet of 7 lorries, the truck is able to carry out lifting and moving, safely, of all manor of loads.
On the road in September, and already booked out on a week long job as soon as it arrives, plus more work on the horizon the future looks positive.
