Helping to increase compliance and minimise costs
We’re immensely pleased to announce that we recently achieved our ISO 9001:2008 certification, awarded to us by Alumus ISOQAR – a leading UKAS accredited certification body providing a recognised benchmark in best practice management. ISO 9001:2008 is a certified quality management system (QMS) for organisations worldwide, proving their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of their customers and other relevant stakeholders.
This award comes hot on the heels of our improved Achilles UVDB Verify scores in health and safety, environment and quality. Those familiar with Achilles will know that it acts as an independent partner, representing a national benchmark of quality for buyers and suppliers across a particular industry sector, providing them with the information and means they need in order to operate and work effectively and cohesively together, trusting each others’ services and skills.
These score improvements were verified by an Achilles auditor who came to our headquarters at Martlesham, near Ipswich to assess us, our procedures and workshops. We were also subject to a working site audit in the same areas – health and safety, environment and quality – which showed considerable improvement since the last audit 12 months before as well.
Our appointment as an NICEIC approved contractor rounds off our hat trick of recent awards. NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. To become approved contractors we underwent a rigorous assessment process covering a representative sample of our work, premises, documentation, equipment and the competence of our key supervisory staff. We will be re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance.
With all of these certifications under our belt, our clients can rest assured that we have attained a standardised level of quality and expertise and operate with the highest levels of professionalism, safety and experience.
