WaterAid Clay Pigeon Shoot
Partnering with Quartzelec, M&C entered a team into the second annual WaterAid Clay Pigeon Shooting competition. M&C Quantity Surveyor Jon Kay, along with Quartzelec’s Project Manager Jamie Pearce and Workshop Manager Martin Brighton took to the day to support this wonderful charity. With two novices in our team we were only expecting to be willing participants but finishing on 73/120 Clays, we placed a respectable 9th place out of 29 teams.
We then took on the 30 bird flush scoring 25/30. Tying first place with two others but placing second due to our competition shoot score. Picking up a trophy in the mean time! A brilliant day out for a great cause raising over £9,000. We will certainly be supporting again next year.
